In April of 2016 with Trump looking more and more like the ultimate winner of the GOP nomination, the Hillary Campaign along with the DNC, Perkins Coie and Crowd Strike determined to use information they had gleaned from the FBI’s earlier encounter with APT 29 better known as Cozy Bear to manufacture a political narrative that would not only paint Donald Trump as too close to Russia but would finger him and his campaign as villains in collusion with Vladimir Putin to undermine American democracy.
